Untitled (Vocalise Op. 34 No. 14) 7:07 - a foundational Neo-Elegance speed painting done as performance art

foundational Neo-Elegance speedpainting of nude woman created to Rachmaninoff
A foundational piece of Neo-Elegance art. Painted as a performance art piece at the first Sideshow art show in Dayton, Ohio in 7 mins. 7 secs. to Rachmaninoff's Vocalise Op. 34 No. 14. The canvas was laid on the floor atop a drop cloth and painters' brushes bound to dowel rods were used to paint it. Due to the alotted time, the figure had to be broken down to its core elements, making the figure rather abstract. The colors represent the blood (red), sweat (yellow), and tears (blue) artists pour into their work along with criticism (gray) they face from their peers and the public. This painting was lost during a studio move in 2011.

Materials Used: Latex Paint on Canvas
Dimensions: 48" x 72"
Year Created: 2006
Status: Lost

I never got a copy of the video footage that was taken during the show, but below are some in-progress photographs that were taken at the event by a local photographer.
