Lady of the Wood - expressive chalk pastel drawing of standing female nude

expressive chalk pastel drawing of standing female nude with vinelike green lines rising around her
"Lady of the Wood" was one of my first truly expressive chalk pastel drawings I did at college. By allowing myself to remain loose while drawing the nude model, the green lines in the background give the impression of abstract vines and foliage surrounding the figure. Unfortunately, this image was lost along with a number of other drawings during a studio move in 2011.

Materials Used: Rembrandt Chalk Pastel on Newsprint
Dimensions: 8" x 20"
Year Created: 2005
Status: Lost
