"Life" was created while working with a nude model in 2005 as part of a small figurative sculpture triptych that also included "Birth" and "Death". This red glazed ceramic carving depicts a Rubenesque girl laying on her side atop blankets with her head propped up on her hand. The entire triptych was sold to a private collector shortly after they were completed and photographed.
