Structures of the Arm - a chalk pastel drawing of the muscles and bones of the back of thearm

chalk pastel drawing of the outline of a male nude with the bones and muscles of the arm rendered on top
"Structures of the Arm" was the first of two practice drawings I created in a Life Drawing class at college as practice before drawing "Voyeur". In this image, a quick outline gesture drawing of the nude model was made first. Once that was fleshed out, the skeletal structures of the arm and shoulder were overlaid on top. Then to finish the drawing, muscles of the shoulder, upper arm, and part of the forearm were then rendered on top of the underlying bones.
