Twisted - charcoal and conte drawing of male torso with arms crossed in front

sepia tone charcoal and conte drawing of male torso with arms crossed in front and fingers curled
While taking my first Life Drawing class at college, I tried to push myself by drawing the human form in unusual body positions. Created to practice rendering the human hands and arms, this charcoal and conte crayon self-portrait drawing of the male torso with fingers curled and arms crossed in front of the chest was a challenge to draw and model for at the same time.

Materials Used: Charcoal and Conte on Bond Paper
Dimensions: 18" x 24"
Year Created: 2004
Status: In Private Collection

About Me

My name is Ben. I'm an illustrator, industrial designer, and inventor that specializes in... making stuff look cool. When I'm not preparing inventive advertising or drafting eccentric products, I find time to restore 1940s industrial equipment.
